When I was growing up I lived close enough to my grandmother that I would spend several weeks there each summer. She taught me how to sew and we would plan many projects for those summer visits that resulted in new clothes for the coming school year. I still love to sew -- but clothes are no longer high up on the list of things I make. So when I saw this beautiful dress that my downline member Doris Moran made for her granddaughter, it brought back great memories of my Mamaw (as we called her) sewing for me.
The fabrics are retired now but if you're like me, you've got some in your stash (and I'll be checking the online clearance rack for fabric -- there is usually some there). Check out the detail on the YoYo flowers.
Just a beautiful job by Doris!
So what do you plan to do with the SU fabric in your stash? Leave me a comment about your idea or even a link to your project.
