An In Color Update for the Quilt Card

DSC_2875 I'm now addicted to making these quilt cards -- you can see the basics in this prior post. What makes them so great is they use a snippet of all 12 patterns in a package of Stampin' Up's yummy Designer Series Papers.

These papers are from the Raspberry Lemonade papers -- and I find that you can tone down the brightness of the In Colors by teaming them up with some of our other wonderful 48 colors. In this case So Saffron is the card background and Textured Rich Razzleberry (an In Color available through June 30, 2010) is the strip that was scalloped with our border punch. The greeting was done with the Oval All set and the matching punch -- the mat is Pumpkin Pie.

But look what's inside!!! A surprise! It's a the great new Big Shot BIGZ XL die called Look Here (item #115966) which not only pops up -- but holds a gift card that pops up as well. Too cool and I know I will be using this a lot. DSC_2876 Here's a side view. It's really not hard to do once you make one as the die does all the cutting and scoring.
DSC_2878 Happy crafting and be sure to check back all week as I have some fun posts planned related to the annual Stampin' Up convention -- including another video tutorial for a great Big Shot project that will post on Friday!
