Every year since 2007 I have a tradition of making stamped calendar pages that fit inside a plastic CD case -- the kind that open backwards so they stand up as a holder. I first showed them in this post which has some great tips you might want to review. That post also has a link for the plastic CD calendar cases that I use. Plus I have photos of my 2007 calendar to give you an idea of how to decorate your pages -- just check out the CD Calendar photo album in the bottom of my blog's left side column.
I have a long time friend Jo Lea who makes these each year as a fundraiser for a half marathon that she runs to support The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Here's her site for this ambitious run which she does through Team in Training so she has a little extra training boost.
A reminder on how to use these: I print them out on Stampin' Up's Whisper White card stock -- you will get two of each month on one sheet. Then they have to be trimmed -- and I designed them flush left so you only have to make a couple of cuts. That means after printing you trim off the right side so its margin is equal to the left margin. (final calendar sheet is approx. 4 & 3/4 inch wide, but that width can vary based on how wide your CD case is.) TIP: Make sure it fits inside before you cut them all. You then cut the card stock in half vertically and each calendar page is 5 & 1/2 inches tall. You have to download each month's pdf file to have all the months for 2010. Enjoy -- and if you make these, come back and post a comment with a link to your project. I'd love to see what you do with these.
